The first bird trip for 2014 at Schinias National Park brought some very interesting sightings. The highlight was a single Black-winged Stilt, a summer visitors that most probably never left the area for Africa! Another interesting sights were the Pygmy Cormorant and the female Red-crested Pochard found at the rowing center. A total of more than 55 species were recorded in the area. Seems like a good start for 2014!
