A Black Heron (E.ardesiaca) was seen 3 days ago at Mesolongi Lagoons! The bird was feeding using its typical ''canopy'' behavior. This is the 1rst record for Greece, and Europe. The only report for Western Palearctic was a bird seen in Israel at 1981, no photos submitted. Up to day, a few lucky greek birders have seen the bird, among Little Egrets and Glossy Ibises
