Feathered Travelers: Witnessing the Fall Bird Migration in Athens

As August wraps up, fall migration kicks into gear! Over in the Spata fields on the outskirts of Athens, you can catch sight of Spotted Flycatchers, Red-Backed Shrikes, and Woodchat Shrikes making their journey south. They’re joined by Willow warblers, eastern Subalpine warblers, and Great Whitethroats, all part of this spectacular show.
